PERC® is designed for use in gopher control, ground squirrel control, prairie dog control and similar rodent control applications, including Agriculture, Pest Control, Municipalities, School Districts, etc.
The exhaust gas from a gas motor, that drives a compressor, is routed through a set of cooling coils into the intake ports of the compressor. The exhaust gas is then pressurized to 110 PSI in a pressure tank and injected into the burrows with a wand-probe.
Pressurized exhaust gas (2.5% carbon monoxide) is injected into burrows using multiple probes or hose extensions, purging the air from the burrow in seconds. The rodent is caught in an airless burrow before it has a chance to react or escape.
While baits, traps, shooting, blowing up burrows, and conventional low-pressure auto exhaust delivery systems all work, nothing is as effective, efficient and inexpensive to use as the PERC® system.
Using a PERC 412 model a single operator can treat moderately infested alfalfa fields at about 3.5 acres per hour!
