Gopher mounds are probed to find lateral burrows that connect mounds, feeding burrows. Gophers feed on plant roots damaging the plant and often killing it.

Probing gopher burrows after second cutting hay has been harvested
When probing the burrow with the 1/4" steel tube, the 'roof' of the burrow can be felt prior to the probe breaking into the burrow. A packed dirt wall of the burrow is created when the gopher digs the burrow as well as when making multiple trips through the burrow.

The compact PERC 412 pulled by an ATV is a perfect fit on a light ATV trailer. Load and go is ideal for farmers with multiple fields, Custom Operators and pest control firms in urban areas.
